Happy Valentine's Day!

Soooo it's that time again! Valentine's day.

I've been seeing a lot of tweets of my friends missing vday in SAC. Well.... Am I the only one that doesn't?

I was never the kind for romance. I honestly have no clue about it so to me, vday is just like any ordinary day just that you see couples walking around with girls holding on the the flowers their boyfriends got them.

Here's my opinion of vday:

One thing almost everyone says, "Vday shouldn't be the only that you show someone you love them but rather, it should be everyday."

Here's what I think: If it's everyday, then it wouldn't be so special now, would it? There would be nothing to look forward to already, right?

Anyway, I don't think I'm the kind of person who actually appreciates vday, yet (mainly cos I'm not attached). But also, I don't like the gifts one would get on vday. Yes, I meant the flowers. If you know me, I absolutely hate, hate, hate flowers. They ruin my day instead of brightening them up. Yeah, flowers are good to look at but to keep them is just an eyesore. They'll just sit there, do nothing, take up my space and then die in a few days. Utterly useless.

Not to mention bouquets of flowers are really expensive. It's going to end up in the bin in a few days so, save the money. I rather get nothing for vday (in future) than flowers. Oh God, flowers.

Also, I don't like the stuff toys that you'll get. I'm not the kind of stuff toy person.

And, people give out chocolates. Well, chocolates are okay but it depends. I strongly dislike Ferrero Rocher. I don't really eat a lot of sugary stuff so best if I don't get chocolates at all.

See? So I rather get nothing for vday than to get something I don't like/need.

You know what would be a really good vday present for me? (I'm talking as if I'm gonna get anything at all)

Cards/letters. I rather those handmade cards or letters, purposely written for you in nice/messy handwriting (doesn't matter). At least that is something I can keep and look at it again. See? And y'all won't have to spend money at all. You just have to spend time making a nice card/letter! ;)

I rather someone make something for me than to buy something for me. Handmade stuff are only one in the world. I can get chocolates anytime I want but I can never get the same card/letter anywhere else.

ANYWAY, I'd just like to say HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
